St Vincent de Paul is made up of a group of volunteer members called Vincentians. When you reach out for help, you will be welcomed and connected with one of the SVdP volunteer members who will set up a time to visit you in your home. If you do not have a home, they will schedule a time to meet with you at the SVdP-GB Resource Center.
More than a hand out, SVdP GB is committed to providing scholarships for people who might not otherwise have the funds to get an education that will help them on to gainful employment as a contributing member within the Green Bay community. To learn more about this valuable resource, Email the Scholarship Committee to get the process started.
It’s time to create your Future Story… and it begins with our workshop and your participation! The first step toward Getting Ahead is getting started…Thinking about making a change? Let’s do it together!
SVdP was there in the beginning as House of Hope began their quest for a place to initiate their service to young mothers in need of a home and a hand up to a better life for themselves and their children. The SVdP District Council first helped by providing a house. The ministry quickly outgrew that home and began looking for a place to expand their services to more residents. SVdP purchased a building on the corner of Shawano and Perkins Avenues and currently holds and maintains that property.
St Vincent de Paul has a long standing affiliation with Paul’s Pantry. Located across from the St. Vincent de Paul Green Bay Business Office, Paul’s Pantry offers food for those in need.
Salvaging usable medical supplies, Green Bay Medical & Sewing Mission sends these supplies to places where they are desperately needed.
Understanding the dignity and beauty within the victims of human trafficking, the SVdP Green Bay District Council saw the need to get involved in a tangible way and began efforts to provide a house that will serve as Green Bay’s first aftercare facility for Eye Heart World, which is headquartered in DePere, WI.
